Day 4.

All is well with the 5 remaining Neon's. We even saw their night time effect we have read about.

For those who don't know, Neon's lose
their colour over night. They look almost see through. But as the day gets lighter and they wake up, their bright colours come back. It is very interesting to watch.

Day 3.

All seemed to be well today. The 5 Neons colour has picked back up.

Then is came to bed time for 1 miss Hermione. Final check on the fish before bed and we discovered Spotty What laying at the bottom of the tank.

Hermione cried herself to sleep. :(

Day 2.

10 new neon tetras in the tank, after the heating was sorted.

In enters a very enthusiastic Hermione and in goes way too much food. 5 dead neons within half an hour.

50% water change.

End of the day, 5 neons and Spotty What left.

Day 1.

I had the tank set up for 24+ hours. All ready for the fish. We had chosen 10 neon tetras and a bristle nose catfish (named Spotty What)

Only to realise that the heater was playing up in the tank.

2 hours later, all that was left was Spotty What.

Disclaimer.

I am not a fish expert and won't try and be. This is just a little blog about our adventure with new fish and their autistic 6 year old owner. (My daughter, Hermione).
We don't need tips, unless asked for.

Thanks for reading.
